K&L Interiors is led by principal designers, Kelly Lyons and Lauren Hockema, who founded the firm in 2013. Influenced by our backgrounds in high end residential design, we are known for our keen attention to detail and innate ability to create balance between function and aesthetics in our designs. Emphasis is placed on curating quality pieces and designing enduring spaces that don’t rely heavily on trends.

Kelly Lyons
Prior to forming K&L Interiors, Kelly worked for high end residential design firms in Seattle and produced numerous projects locally, nationally, and internationally. She is motivated by a deep-rooted love of design and strives to create distinctive, beautiful spaces for her clients. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Seattle.
Lauren Hockema
Lauren’s passion for design led her to work for high end residential design firms in Seattle, as well as a commercial interiors firm, before co-founding K&L Interiors. She is driven by a meticulous attention to detail and is inspired to create thoughtful, cohesive spaces for her clients. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from Washington State University.
